I am very excited to have the opportunity to serve this community as principal of Ben Milam Elementary. I find Bryan ISD to be the greatest place to work as an educator and have served the district for almost 20 years as teacher, professional development specialist, district math coordinator and principal for the past 6 years. I am very honored to be the principal of Ben Milam Elementary and look forward to working with great students and the finest faculty in the state.
Our mission is to love, teach and serve the students at Milam. I will do my very best to lead this elementary school in fulfilling our mission.
My number one priority is to provide leadership that will create an environment to provide differentiated instruction to meet the needs of each student. The educational program must be academically challenging, engage each student by linking the curriculum to previous knowledge and experience, and also be exciting to promote life long learning.
Parents, teachers, support staff, and administration all have an important role to encourage our children to become active learners. It is my sincere desire to provide leadership to increase student achievement, help teachers and staff to grow professionally, and expand opportunities for our students to acquire the skills to become productive citizens in a vastly changing society. I am confident that together we can reach new heights and create an environment where our students learn and grow. I would like to thank the parents and community members for your support and allowing us to work with your children. We will do our best in educating our students by building strong relationships and providing great teaching strategies and programs. We are looking forward to a great 2013-2014 school year! It’s a great day to be a mustang!!! Holly Scott email@example.com
